Video Portfolio

Client: Best Buy

Involvement: Writer + Director + Co-Producer

Best Buy hosted its annual three‑day Charity Classic event and needed a highlight video to send to thousands of vendor attendees, as well as to attract new partners for the following year.

Our goal was to create a polished, engaging recap video that captured the energy of the event and communicated the purpose of the charity and why it’s important. It also needed to be ready for distribution the following week—despite a tight Monday‑through‑Wednesday shoot window and a rapid post‑production timeline.

I collaborated with an internal producer to develop the creative direction, then led a production team on‑site across all three days of the event. After filming wrapped, I worked closely with an editor to shape the narrative, refine selects, and drive the project through a fast turnaround.

We delivered the final cut by the end of the week, meeting the accelerated deadline. The completed video was distributed to thousands of vendor attendees and used as a promotional asset to encourage new vendor participation for the next year.

This project reinforced my ability to lead multi‑day event productions, manage tight timelines, and collaborate efficiently across teams to deliver high‑impact content.

Client: Family Handyman Magazine

Involvement: Video Editor

Family Handyman magazine created this article and had the video shot, but their video editing team didn’t have enough bandwidth to complete it.

The goal was to transform several hours of raw footage into a concise, cohesive instructional video that accurately reflected the steps outlined in the article and met the editorial standards of the Family Handyman team.

I reviewed all the source footage, identified the strongest material, and crafted a streamlined narrative that matched the structure of the online article. Throughout the edit, I collaborated closely with an internal video producer, incorporating multiple rounds of revisions to ensure accuracy, clarity, and pacing.

The final video delivered a clean, easy‑to‑follow visual guide that complemented the written How‑To content and met the expectations of the Family Handyman editorial team.

This project strengthened my ability to distill large volumes of footage into a focused story, maintain alignment with written instructional content, sped up my color correction process, and collaborate efficiently through several stages of revisions.

Client: Google

Involvement: Producer + Editor

Google Nest needed a video tailored specifically for HVAC professionals—an audience that requires clear, technical reasoning for why a product is the best choice for their customers.

My goal was to create a concise, persuasive video that communicated the benefits of Google Nest’s newest thermostat and positioned it as the top recommendation HVAC pros can confidently offer.

I co‑produced the project, mainly focused on hiring the production team and nailing locations and shoot schedule. I then led the video edit. Throughout the process, I collaborated with internal stakeholders to refine the cut and ensure accuracy and alignment with Google’s brand standards.

The final video delivered a compelling, easy‑to‑understand breakdown of the thermostat’s advantages, supporting Google’s outreach to HVAC pros and strengthening product adoption within that channel.

This project deepened my experience creating targeted, audience‑specific content and reinforced my ability to translate complex product benefits into a clear, persuasive story.

Client: Google

Involvement: Producer + Editor

Google Nest was preparing to launch its newest thermostat and the accompanying “Energy Shift” feature and needed a promotional video that clearly demonstrated the product’s value while matching Google’s brand standards.

The end-product needed to be a polished marketing piece. We were on a tight deadline, and needed to ensure the final video was launch‑ready and suitable for hosting on the Google Store.

I partnered with another producer to hire the crew, negotiate rates, and led the edit from rough cut to final delivery. Throughout the process, I balanced brand guidelines, product messaging, and rapid turnaround requirements to keep the project moving efficiently.

We delivered the final video on schedule, and it was published on the Google Store as part of the official product launch—supporting visibility and adoption of the new Energy Shift feature.

This project reinforced my ability to deliver high‑quality branded content under tight timelines while collaborating effectively across creative and product teams.

Client: OhmConnect

Involvement: Producer + Director + DP + Video Editor

OhmConnect needed a clear, user‑friendly tutorial showing customers how to connect an OhmPlug to their OhmConnect dashboard and app and to integrate it with their smart devices. Many users were reaching out to customer service for help, creating unnecessary support volume.

The ultimate goal was to produce a professional, easy‑to‑follow how‑to video that would reduce customer confusion, lower support inquiries, and give users the confidence to complete the setup on their own.

I co‑produced and shot the instructional content, breaking down the technical steps into a simple, logical sequence. During editing, I focused on clarity, pacing, and visual reinforcement to ensure the tutorial made sense to users with no technical background. I collaborated with the OhmConnect customer service team to confirm accuracy and refine the final cut.

The finished video delivered a clean, easy‑to‑understand walkthrough and was published on the troubleshooting section of the OhmConnect website. It provided customers with a self‑serve solution and helped reduce the need for customer service intervention.

This project strengthened my ability to create high‑quality product tutorials and translate complex technical steps into content that’s accessible, intuitive, and helpful for everyday users.
